As the month of February approaches we are starting to get glimpses of what Nike SB has instore for us, the Nike SB Dunk Hi Premium Chuck Treece Mcrad is Februarys Quickstricke. A little back story on who and what Chuck Treece / McRad are exactly.

Chuck Treece is a musician and professional skateboarder from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Chuck was the first African American Pro skateboarder to be featured on the cover of Thrasher Magazine. His credits include starting the 1980s skate punk band McRad, remixing songs for Amy Grant and Sting, playing the bass line on "The River of Dreams" by Billy Joel, filling in on drums at a Pearl Jam concert, and touring with Urge Overkill and Bad Brains. In 2010, he was awarded a Pew Fellowships in the Arts.

McRad launched into the skate scene with a opening for the Punk band Minor Threat and has been featured in several skate videos including the film from Stacy Peralta and CR Stecyk Public Domain in 1988.
